Pamela Jarvis has extensive experience in complex financial, securities, corporate and health care litigation. She has served as a litigation partner in a major New York law firm; as general counsel to a national health insurance and managed care company; and as a senior official in the Office of the New York State Attorney General.

Ms. Jarvis is a graduate of Barnard College (B.A., cum laude, 1975) and Boston University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1978). Following law school, she joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, where she was a litigation partner from 1985-1991, specializing in financial and securities litigation, including numerous corporate takeover and insider trading cases.

From 1991-1998, Ms. Jarvis was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of NYLCare Health Plans, Inc., a subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company. While at NYLCare, Ms. Jarvis developed the company's litigation and risk management programs, implemented a regional legal and regulatory compliance system, and structured and negotiated numerous corporate transactions. From 1999-2001, she served as Chief of the Health Care Bureau of the New York State Attorney General's Office, where she led investigations and enforcement proceedings concerning a broad range of health care industry practices and transactions, and also developed policy and legislation on health care and related issues.
